The basic Agafay outfit (all seasons)
- Closed shoes or trainers — mandatory for quad and buggy; sandals are not allowed.
- Long trousers (jeans, cargo or light hiking pants) to protect your legs from the hot engine and stones.
- Sunglasses — the best protection against dust and glare.
- A light jacket or fleece for after sunset.
- Sunscreen and lip balm; the plateau has almost no shade.

Season by season
Winter (December–February)
Sunny days around 18–20 °C but nights near 5 °C. Wear layers: T-shirt, sweater and a warm jacket, plus a beanie for the dinner show. Read Agafay in winter.
Spring and autumn
Light long sleeves protect from the sun and dust; a light jacket is enough for the evening.
Summer (June–September)
Breathable, light-coloured long sleeves and trousers, a cap under the helmet is not allowed but a scarf is, and lots of water. Ride at sunset — see Agafay in summer.
Is there a dress code for women?
